Deputies Recover Property, Make Arrests in Rash of Vehicle Break-ins

Lawrence County Detectives have cleared several car break-ins in Lawrence County over the past few weeks with the arrest of three (3) people.  The Sheriff's Office credits the quick clearances to the assistance law enforcement agencies both inside and outside of Lawrence County.

Hundreds of dollars of stolen property have also been recovered as a result of the arrests.  Thanks to video's of business and homeowner security camera's, along with tips from citizens, deputies were able to piece together three unrelated vehicle theft rings operating in Lawrence County.

Formal charges have not yet been filed on all of the three suspects but are expected any time.

The Sheriff's Office is currently in the process of returning property to its rightful owners.  There are also several pieces of property that are not identified with current cases.  The Sheriff's Office is asking that if you have had a vehicle break-in within the last 3 weeks to please contact Detective Sgt.
