Search Warrant Served at Aurora Business

As part of an ongoing investigation, the Aurora Police Department, COMET Drug Task Force, and the Lawrence County Sheriff's Office served a search warrant on Tuesday May 22, 2012 at a local convenience store in Aurora.

A combined investigation effort after numerous complaints were received regarding possible illegal activity at the local business resulted in a search warrant being issued and served on Tuesday morning.  Items removed from the store included four electronic gambling machines and several packages of what is believed to be imitation controlled substances.

No arrests have been made at this time but the investigation into activities continues.
