The Lawrence County Sheriff's Office is releasing statistics on its war against methamphetamine for the year 2009.  Below are statistics obtained for the past year:

Number of Labs and dump sites seized during 2009:  28

Individuals arrested for manufacturing Methamphetamine:  3

Individuals arrested for attempt to manufacture: 1

Individuals arrested for distribution of methamphetamine: 3

Individuals arrested for possession of methamphetamine: 26

Individuals documented for having more than 9 grams of pseudo-ephedrine: 62

Many of these arrests and contacts were from the hard work of Deputy David Howell and officers with the Sheriff's Office after many long hard hours of work.  The fight continues and with your help and tips we can continue to reduce drug use.
