Lawrence County Sheriff's Office Deputies and employees raised $1,700.00 for the annual Holiday Central toy drive.  This amount more than doubles last years efforts.  29 employee's participated in this years event.  Deputies and employees who normally are required to wear class A and B type uniforms and be clean shaven were "fined" in order to wear other approved attire as well as grow facial hair.

Paying the fine allowed employees to do this through the end of 2015.  This fundraiser goes to provide children in Lawrence County with Christmas gifts that they might not otherwise be able to have.

This is the 3rd year that the Lawrence County Sheriff's Office has had the opportunity to participate in this fundraiser and give back to the community.
