On June 10, 2013 the Lawrence County Sheriff’s Office began an investigation into allegation of possession of Child Pornography.

During the investigation, over 9,000 printed images, including children, were produced.  Multiple computers were also seized for evidence.  The Lawrence County Sheriff's Office is working with federal authorities in the investigation to determine the depth of the incident.

Gordon Funk, 70 of Aurora has been charged with three counts of Possession of Child Pornography and is currently incarcerated at the Lawrence County Jail on a $500,000.00 bond.
