12/10/2010

Lawrence County Deputies received a tip about a possible meth lab in Lawrence County on Sunday December 5, 2010.  The deputies followed up on the tip and used information from the new NPLEX (National Precursor Log Exchange) system and located a lab in rural Lawrence County.

Because of the tip and NPLEX, three subjects were arrested and transported to the Lawrence County Jail.  A quantity of methamphetamine, marijuana, illegal weapons, and a meth lab were located at the residence.

Formal charges are pending on all three subjects.
