Thank you

"Thank you".  Two words that we use often.  Two words that we don't use enough.  Two words that we often just take for granted.  Two words that should mean everything.

Never should those words mean more than Sunday November 11, 2012, Veterans' Day.  We live in the greatest country in the world because of our Veterans.  Since the beginning of our nation men and women have been serving us by protection our freedom and liberty.  They have given of themselves to make sure we have those freedoms and liberties and sometimes they have given the ultimate sacrifice for us.

They are more than just soldiers.  They are our fathers, mothers, brothers, sisters, sons, daughters, grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, friends. Just thinking of High School, many of my friends went on to serve our country.  Jeremy, Dusty, Todd, Dan, Chris, Josh, Howard, Ed, David,  just to name a few.  People who don't hear those words enough.

Because of Veterans, we can pray when and where we want to.  We can express our opinions, we can vote.  We can do so many things here that others can't even imagine.  Despite what people say, the United States of America is still that shinning light for the world because of our veterans.

We are fortunate to have had many veterans work for this office and have several that still do.  A special "Thank You" to those who are currently continuing to serve this county and its citizens.  Not just Sunday, not just this weekend but anytime you have the opportunity, stop and think when you see a veteran and remember to say "Thank You".  God bless our veterans and God bless America.
